How to obtain a certificate of conformity and a declaration of conformity
Certificates and declarations of conformity are issued in the CertTrade system of the single account. The foreign trade participant submits an application and attaches a test report from the “Documents” section; the certification body reviews it and issues the document.
This page is still being reviewed by SE “SWC”, so it is hidden from search engines. Agencies’ deadlines, fees and document lists are not given here: please check with the call centre on 1240 (calls are charged).
How to obtain a certificate or declaration: steps
- Sign in to the account and choose CertTrade
- Choose the service and complete the application — on your own behalf or on behalf of an organisation under a power of attorney
- Attach the test report from the “Documents” section
- Sign the application with your e-signature (EDS) and send it
- Track the review in the “My applications” section; issued documents are in the registry of certificates and declarations
Where to get a test report
The report is prepared by a testing laboratory in the “Protocols” system. It goes to the “Documents” section of the account and is selected as the basis without uploading it again.
What this page does not cover
Which document your product needs — a certificate or a declaration — and under which scheme is not stated on the website. Neither are deadlines, fees or the list of documents: please check with the call centre on 1240 (calls are charged).
